OPUS CLUB

Bangalore’s latest addition is OPUS, a luxurious, trendy and spectacular club. When one enters OPUS, they are transported to another world with the all-black theme with clever touches of red and gold finish, the double-height exposed ceiling and stylish use of LED lights.

Do check out the following:

The wall opposite the reception table which is tactfully designed with posters of some of our favourite singers, to prepare you for the club mood.

The elegant large leather entry doors which lead you inside and the massive LED screen supported by geometric LED lit MS sections displaying your desired songs. Along with this the concealed disco lights sets the perfect atmosphere to get on the dance floor and dance the stress away.

The 36 foot-long onyx bar (the longest bar in Bangalore) with the large OPUS logo in the background is something you should not miss. The smart use of table lamps on the counter and the mirror cladding on the back wall of the bar which provides reflected illumination, and the columns have 2 stripes of LED lights running around them are little design elements which add to the glamour of OPUS.

The seating is divided into red coloured large lounge sofas for 8-10 people each, metal chairs, pouf with round tables and high stools at the bar.

The design of the walkway to the washroom will make anyone stop for a picture. The entire wall has mirror cladding on it with the ideal floor uplighters making it a picture-perfect space.

As we move upstairs, stop for a bit and observe the symmetry of the elegant black and gold staircase and drop lights. This was my favorite area. The large glass on one side which lets in ample sunlight inside, and the opposite wall cladded in jet black acrylic boards’ make a beautiful contrast of elements. One must watch the reflections at play here. The use of inverted LED backlit triangles along with thin golden colour metal verticals running along the staircase railing fulfills all the principles of design namely, balance, proportion, rhythm, emphasis, and unity.

Opus has a first floor which is mainly for larger groups and a private seating which overlooks the area down. A similar design theme is followed here, with stunning geometric patterns on the wall in a red and black color combination. This area also has a separate bar similar to the one on the ground floor. Smoking rooms are also present on this floor.

The outdoor seating is hassle-free and comfortable with garden chairs covered with white canopies, staggered stone flooring and beautiful creepers on the wall. One can laze here and snack for hours. My visit to Opus has been incredible as the design features, functionality and finishes of all the areas is precise and visually sensational. Opus is also known for its delightful food and drinks curated by its chef. You must visit Opus and let me know what you think.
