GREEN THEORY RESTAURANT
Hello! Welcome back to Rendezvous Of Aesthetics, this post is on the fine-looking interiors of Green Theory, popularly known for its lip smacking vegetarian cuisine and its toothsome bake house delights. Green Theory is owned and personally designed by restaurateur Bikash Parek. This elegant eatery is nestled between Bangalore’s old world charm of massive bungalows on convent road, therefore if you’re looking for a place with natural, pleasant interiors and sumptuous food, then Green Theory hosts the ideal ambience to enjoy a meal. You can also bring your pet animals, as Green Theory is a pet friendly place.
As the name suggests, Green Theory is set amidst a lush green environment. When the ambience of a place looks naturally scenic, you know the food will be nutritious and nourishing. This is exactly what Green Theory offers- A Wholesome Vegan Cuisine. This multipurpose space houses a café, a restaurant, a bakehouse, an organic store and a clothing boutique.
The outdoor seating houses tables of 2, 3, 4, and 6 seater which lie snuggled between the white large pots of luscious green plants. The stone flooring with a pebbled pathway, Buddha’s statue against a cladded wall of flag stones, the green canopy’s and small adornments hung from the tall tree branches, all together exhibit the perfect ambience to relish a meal.
On the other side, there is a Japanese style U-shaped low seating with cushioned jute and cotton. This area has a bamboo stem roof which is supported with metal columns and chattai mats which are used to keep the space cool.
As we enter inside, pale -yellow clay and plastered walls along charming white tulip chairs welcome us. Metal pendant lights with filament bulbs and the grey laterite flooring flaunts a cozy ambience.
The neutral colors and creative lighting fixtures like this fan-light or these glass blown pendant lights creates a comfortable aura.
The bake house designed by Made In Earth, tempts us with sweet and savory delights.
This was our favorites spot. An outdoor lounge seating with recycled furniture pieces, bamboo sheets ceiling, accent niches in the wall with attractive artifacts and dim lighting. Simple yet graceful.
A recent addition to Green Theory is a plush clothing boutique called Millennial Mode and the interiors are designed by Naina Belliappa. Don’t miss the velvet billing station.
Go ahead and savor a meal at Green Theory right away.
