JUTE COTTAGE:Jute Is Cute
Mrs. Nasreen Khan is the pioneer of Jute Cottage, and she opened its first store in Bangalore in 1999.
As the name, Jute Cottage, suggests, the store is predominantly about the fabric -- often described as coarse and strong – but has been redefined and elevated to a fashionable and stylist material by the Jute Cottage designers. As we know India is the largest producer of this Golden Fibre: Jute, but still its utilization is comparatively lesser than other commercial materials. Jute Cottage has done complete justice to the value of jute through its products.
JUTE COTTAGE is committed to excellence in product quality, and use only 'THE BEST' inputs, be it the fabric, zips, slider, sewing and embroidery threads, print pigments, accessories, handles, fittings, beads etc.The designs are personally crafted with intricate traditional detailing which have a contemporary perspective.
Aim: Design innovation and promotion of handcrafted products made by rural Indian artisans using natural inputs which sustains and preserves the environment.
